The Martha Guy Summer Institute (MGSI) has a sixteen year history of providing a unique summer program for high-achieving high school juniors interested in pursuing a degree in some area of business. MGSI is looking for participants from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and beyond!
As a way to be more inclusive, this year the program will offer significantly reduced fees for tuition/ meal plan – a 40% reduction! As a way to accomplish this, the camp has been restructured into a two-week program. The institute provides on-campus instruction and fun activities, as well as possible local and/or regional travel. Participants will develop their leadership skills, explore careers in business, meet business leaders and develop new business ideas to present to industry leaders.
Please relay the message via your website, newsletter, or word of mouth to any students you think may be interested. Those participating in Finance Academy, DECA or FBLA clubs, as well as others interested in business are typically good fit applicants for theprogram.
Program dates – July 19–August 1, 2020
Application deadline – March 15, 2020
Tuition – $1000 + $350 meal plan* - a 40% reduction from the 2019 program!

UNC Asheville is proud to announce the launch of our brand new Summer Pre-College Programs. These week-long summer immersion programs are designed to introduce rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors to college-level study, future career options, and university life at one of the premier liberal arts and sciences universities in the country. Led by our dynamic faculty, programs range from Aerospace Engineering to Pre-Med to Journalism, and many others.
